How to add trendlines on MT4

Adding trendlines to charts in MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is a simple process. Trendlines are useful tools for identifying and visualizing trends in price movements. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add trendlines on MT4:

1. Open the Chart: Open the chart for the currency pair or instrument you want to analyze. You can do this by navigating to the "Market Watch" window, locating the desired symbol, and dragging it onto the chart window. Alternatively, you can right-click on the chart and select "Symbols" to choose a symbol.

2. Locate the Drawing Toolbar: At the top of the MT4 platform, you'll find a series of icons representing various charting tools. Locate the icon that looks like a diagonal line or a pencil. This is the drawing toolbar.

3. Select the Trendline Tool: Click on the trendline icon in the drawing toolbar. It will activate the trendline drawing tool.

While holding the button, drag the cursor to the ending point of the trendline, usually another swing low or swing high. Release the mouse button to complete the trendline.
